Airtime on MF?

Airtime on MF?

How is the airtime on MF during the three hills?  By the three hills, I'm
talking the ones going on to and coming off the island, and the bunny hop
near the station.

How does the airtime vary from seat to seat?  And is it more floater airtime
or ejector?  Or is there airtime at all?

From the POV I've seen, it looks like you get some long as hell floater
airtime going over the first and second, with some ejector on the third.

In May of last year, I got almost no air-time at all on MF in the
very back on those hills.  During the last operating weekend of the
season (October), I got TONS of air-time in the next to last seat,
especially that night.  It's "floater" air-time all around, IMO.  I
wouldn't call any of it "ejector" air-time (not anything like Magnum
has on the bunny hops, anyway).  I would say it's probably better
towards the end of the day, if not the end of the season in terms of
air-time, but I don't know how it will be this year.  It was a
NIGHT/DAY difference, too, IMO.  I loved the first drop the first
time I rode MF, but after that, there wasn't a lot more going for it
other than some speed and still thinking about the thrill that first
drop provided.  When I rode it in October, the whole ride was
fantastic and the amount of floating air-time it provided was almost
unreal by comparison.  Your mileage may vary (a lot).

I suspect MF will pick up about where it left off last season. But wind can
still affect the ride quite a bit. It tends to run best on calm, warm days.

I would classify all of MF's four airtime moments as very strong floater air.
You will get to know your lapbar, but you won't walk away with bruises.

As for the way it varies from seat to seat: well, all four moments of air are
present in every seat. So, in that sense, it doesn't vary at all. However, the
air towards the front of the train tends to toss you up over the top of the
hills, while the air towards the back tends to float you up and then yank you
down (if that makes any sense).

Having said that, MF is probably the ride on which I'm the least worried about
where I sit.
