Thanks Richard.
I have already called Bandai, actually  =)  They have parts, but without a
set they won't do me much good. I'm just hoping someone has one kicking
around in their closet that they wouldn't mind parting with.

Thanks again.
Chris

They do show up on ebay occasionally. You can try doing a search there.

Chris.

Hey Chris,
This probably isn't related to what you are talking about, but
there used to be this guy who's an ACE member named Tony.  I think his
last name was Consolis, I don't even know if I spelled it right, but
he used to frequent KBF out here in southern California.  I saw him at
the Ghostrider opening, and a few times since, but it's been a while.
He had this outfit that he used to wear, probably for the sake of
warmth, it being that the morning of the GR opening, it was a brisk 43
degrees.  He called his outfit/costume the "spacewarp."  He never
traveled, so unless you also live out here, you probably wouldn't know
him.  I haven't seen hm since early '99.  I just thought I'd pass that
onto you.  Other than that, I'm not even sure that I know what you are
talking about, oh well.

***   The "Spacewarp" here is a track & ball coaster design kit. It
consists of metal tubular uprights with clips that hold flexable plastic
track a specific distance apart so that a steel ball beraing can ride
between the rails around a course. It's possible to make loops,
boomerangs, etc. There are accessories like an elevator, bell ringer,
staircase, etc. I own Set # 30, the larger one. (Sorry, I won't sell it.)

You're talking about Tony Gonzales, a Southern California ACEer.  I've
talked to him several times at GhostRider's media day and Goliathon and
Goliath's media day.  He claims to have the world's longest Bandai Space
Warp coaster.  I've never seen it, but people that have tell me that the
thing literally takes up a whole room in his house!  I sure would like
to take a look at that!  Tony also deals in used rides.  :-D

That's who I'm talking about. His name is Tony Gonzalez. One wacky guy if
you ask me, but he's got the coolest toys on the block!
I'm not sure if he's still a member of ACE anymore, but he does frequent the
Westcoaster.net boards. Try contacting him there!

Oooops,
I did send a post with an attached photo of Tony's Spacewarp. I shouldn't
have done that. Bad nettiquette. I should have just posted the URL. So if it
shows up on the server, just ignore it and head to:
http://www.westcoaster.net/pages/updates/82300-1.htm and the pic is the last
one on the page.

Again, I apologize for posting a binary. I simply lost myself in all the
Spacewarp madness!
