Just like the pre-RRR RRC Gathering at SFoG, it appears that we will have quite
a turn out at Dorney Park on the night before and day after Phall Phunfest so I
figured I'd post a roll call for those two gatherings also.

So, how about? Who's in for:
Dorney Park, Friday, October 9th for Halloweekends (evening)
Dorney Park, Sunday, October 11th for closing day

As of now, I'm in for both. I plan to arrive at DP Friday night around 7pm.

Mine Car Buddy and I should arrive at Dorney on Friday by 6:30 pm.

Dooley, MC Buddy, DE Mac and I will all be there on Sunday.

(What or who do we need to sacrifice to the weather gods to ensure
pleasant riding conditions for three days running?  Yes -- this is a
set up!  I'm waiting...  >-) )

Hi John!  How ya doing?  It was great meeting ya at SFGAdv!  How many RT rides
did you end up with?  I had 72(36 each day) which makes my total for the year
237.  I'll be going there today in a few hours to ride some more, care to join
me?  :-)  It was my first time at Coaster Celebration and it definitely won't
be the last.  It was awesome!  I guess we'll be seeing ya again in a few weeks
cause I'll be at Phunfest(first time) and Dorney closing day.  By the way,
sorry I didn't introduce you to my boyfriend, Rich(DPKKWRICH) who was with me.
I'll introduce you guys next time.  He's another one of RT's biggest fans.
Well, gotta get ready for RT now so I'll talk to ya soon!

Sue

P.S.  Got any plans for this weekend?

I'll be at Dorney Friday night.  I'm leaving Pittsburgh at noon.  Can anyone
suggest the quickest route to Allentown?

Mark-
who'd love to stop for grilled stickies along the way!

Today for you, tomorrow for me

Anyone know any ***s?

Technically, if we're really going to go EXACTLY by the (hetero) rules,
I guess I'd count!  ;-)

(You know I'm drunk right now, or I'd never have posted this! <G>)

If I end up on the PPPPP bonfire, I'm going to be really pissed!  ;-)

I'll add some comments to these directions:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quote:
> Directions
> Go West on I-579 to I-376
> 0.6miles

Since you're coming from the airport don't worry about I-579.
From the airport you will take Rt. 60 towards Pittsburgh until it
ends at I-279. Then take I-279 North to the Fort Pitt Tunnel/Bridge.
After crossing the bridge exit right onto I-376 East towards
Monroeville.

Quote:
> Go East on I-376 (Portions toll) to I-76
> 13.6miles.

I-376 ends in Monroeville and you will take I-76 (PA Turnpike)
exit. I-76 is toll, I-376 is not. Take the turnpike east towards
Harrisburg.

Quote:
> Go East on I-76 to US 11
> 173.2miles.

This is the Carlisle exit of the turnpike. There isn't a direct
connection to I-81 so you have to take Rt. 11 for a mile.

Quote:
> Go East on US 11 to I-81
> 1.0miles.

Head towards Harrisburg on I-81.

Quote:
> Go Northeast on I-81 to I-78
> 36.3miles

The interstate splits. Follow signs to Allentown.

Quote:
> Go East on I-78 to US 22
> 51.0miles.

Stay on I-78 until you see signs for the exit to Dorney Park.
It is after the US 22 exit.

Further clarification:  Exit 16 and turn left onto US 222. :)
