NEW YORK, Sept 26 (Reuter) - Premier Parks Inc said Friday that it has
entered into a definitive agreement to buy Kentucky Kindgdom -- The Thrill
Park, for $64 million in stock and the assumption of debt.
The company did not disclose the number of shares to be issued to Kentucky
Kingdom shareholders, nor the size of the liabilities it would assume.
Closing is expected in November, said Premier.
Kentucky Kingdom, a theme and water park in Louisville, Kentucky, is
expected to generate revenues of about $23 million during the 1997
operating season, added Premier.
Premier Parks is a theme park company that owns or operates 13 regional parks.
FYI.....Premier parks is traded on the NASDAQ exchange under PARK.
