From the BOAT/U.S. Newswire, 5/13/94:
Hurricane Forecast: Boaters Better Batten Down The Hatches!

If noted hurricane predicter Dr. William Gray of Colorado State University is
on target, the '94 hurricane season, June through November, could be a real
bear for boat owners.
By Gray's measure, conditions that contribute to the formation of hurricanes
are favorable enough this year to cause as many as 10 tropical storms, six of
which could develop into hurricanes. He believes that two of the six hurricanes
are likely to be major storms, with winds topping 110 mph.
Last year there were eight tropical storms and four hurricanes, but
fortunately very little damage to  boats was reported.
