I have always let the group know that I represent products sold to OEM boat
builders and the marine aftermarket. I have access to technical information
on many brands that I share with posters looking for assistance - check some
old posts regarding Teleflex and others. I think both Harry and Skipper
would say that I contribute informative posts to this group.

As for the specific gripe that you have, I can get the that actual books to
back up the story. My post was simply to correct a couple of mistatements in
previous posts about Chilton/Seloc not being photographed during a
tear-down, etc.

I suspect by your indignation that you are not unbiased, either, and that
you have some association with Clymer that your choose to hide. Why don't
you follow my example and divulge your real name and affiliations when you
post unless you have something to hide.
