Previously Beverly said:

"Christy Robitaille is still undecided and is currently on a recruiting trip.
Casey O'Neil still has a trip left and is also undecided.  As soon as
decisions are made, we will let Vince know the facts instead of just rumors."

and Vince's home, page shows them now signed. So who is correct?

Vince,

This thread is so long and convoluted this may not be paired with the
correct post but anyway:

Believe me that Jennie Finch as with the others before her chose Arizona
because of the obvious reasons, NOT because I know Mike Candrea. You can
just as surely believe that Mike recruited Jennie Finch and the others
before her purely for THEIR talent and not because I know Mike.

I respect Mike and his program. He is truly a superior coach and
motivator and I am fortunate in that he will talk about hitting with me.

I do not however think I am someone Mike would call a "Friend", as in,
call when you are in trouble, share your life with to a big extent.

As I have told you repeatedly by email and even by phone that time, I DO
NOT tell my players where to, or where not to go to school. I give them
the information I have amassed in 15 odd years of recruiting wars, I
play devil's advocate, I sometimes gripe at coaches if I think my kid is
being unfairly treated. But in the end, it their choice, their career,
their life. I strongly encourage their parennts to allow them to choose
and I always enncourage the player to make her own choice.

Both have been confirmed by the respective kids' email submissions to me.

I received about 30 new entries in Friday night's submissions, so it might
be a bit before I catch up, I have to check for repeated names (there are a
few, unfortunately). This new feed should push the listing to about 75 kids
or more.

Thanks for the response! I'll post the newest submissions on the NG as
soon as I figure out what they are.

Thanks to Cathi Aradi for sending me her Collegiate Softball Connection
successes.

The early signings list on my WWW site has grown to 85 athletes. If you
have any more, or if you notice an error in the listings, let me know.

I think it is great that those two signed but I want to say that there is no
such thing as a 5 year full ride. They can only guarentee 4 years and really a
scholarship is re signed year to year. The only reason i am saying anything is
because I was promised 5 years and they did not pay my 5th year. They gave me
some money but not all of it. Mona Stevens, from Utah, is a great coach and I
am sure she will stick to her word...if 5th year was promised. Just be
careful!! Bye Amie
