CHICAGO, IL AREA CLINIC - PREPARING TO PLAY SOFTBALL AT THE COLLEGIATE LEVEL

On March 8th, 1997, Cathi Aradi, Fastpitch World magazine recruiting
columnist and author of Preparing to Play Softball at the Collegiate Level,
will be conducting a half-day workshop on the college search process,
including how to make a recruiting video.

Sponsored by the D.G.F.S.A., this workshop will be divided into two
sessions.  The morning session from 10:00 am - Noon will include an
overview of collegiate softball and how families can help their athletes find
the college and the team that are right for them.  The afternoon session from
1:00 to 2:30 will include a screening of Making a Recruiting Video for
Collegiate Fastpitch and a discussion on how to make the kind of video that
coaches want to see.

The clinic is open to all softball players and parents, travel ball
and high school coaches.  It will be held at the Electrical Workers Union
Hall, Local #701, 2900 Ogden Ave., Lisle, IL.  For information on cost and
registration, write the DGFSA at PO Box 3056, St. Charles, IL 60174 or call
Geri at 630-513-6574.

I hope that all Chicago-area readers will tell your friends, teammates
and coaches about this clinic, and I look forward to seeing you there!

Do you know if this same clinic will be given in the Washington D.C.
Metropolitan area?  If so, please post on this News Group.
