I am looking for the semi final round that aired on ESPN and ESPN2.
The games were

Oregon vs. South
Southwest vs. Central

I need these for a friend that was in the audience there. Will pay for

What part of the US plays Little League Softball? Don't see that around
these parts (Alabama). Just curious...

Teresa,

Alabama was represented in the South Regionals of Little League
Softball World Series (see url) . They were not real strong but they
were there!

Thanks, didn't know that. Looks like they got stomped : (

Haven't heard of these LL teams, must be fairly new to our region. Most better teams in our area
are playing the ASA tournaments, just don't hear much about the other orginizations. Our rec
department follows Dizzy Dean for girls fastpitch. Never heard of that either...

Kinda like NSA being popular in the SE part of the USA but not in the west...

I don't think all those players played Little League all summer. I think it
was the pitcher from Georgia that they interviewed and she said her regular
travel ball team had just played it's last tournament and someone asked her
if she wanted to play in a Little League tournament. I think they thought it
would be good for TV to have teams from all over the country so they found a
way for the players to be eligible.
