Ours of course.

Oh wait, did you say BEST? Oh sorry, that's different.

Same old shit...Larry Mays' Gordon's Panthers; Gary's Batbusters; Dale
Moore's Panthers Gold; San Jose Strikkers; California Grapettes; Fresno
Force; etc. etc. etc. Nuthin's changed. I'd mention the Choppers but I hate
those guys. Not the girls, the guys. The girls are OK. The guys are out of
control.

P.S. thanks for using my suggestion, "***pitch Magazine."

I will keep my top picks limited to So Cal. There are some great Gold teams up North though.

In no order...
Panthers Gold (Moore)
Batbusters
Gordons Panthers

the rest will battle for left overs.

Well we will soon find out who the best team is Calif's Gold Division will
be. This weekend is the first real weekend of tournament play. The U.S.A
Athletics are hosting a tournament in Tustin, CA . Everybodies picks are
going to be there. The pools are as follows:

Pool A:   Larry Mays Panthers (Gold)
              Stealth Gold (Gold)
              S.D. Power (Gold)
              Fresno Force Blue (Gold)

Pool B:   San Jose Strikers (Gold)
              Bob Wenks Batbusters (16&U)
              Calif. Pirettes (Gold)
              Wrecking Crew (?)

Pool C:   Gary Haning Batbusters (Gold)
              S.C. Firecrackers (Gold)
              Shilos (A)
              T-Devils (?)

Pool D:   Choppers (Gold)
              S.C. Athletics (Gold)
              Dy*** (Gold)
              Lobos (A)

Pool E:   Dale Moore's Panthers (Gold)
              Hot Shots (AZ - ?)
              Calif. Stars (?)
              Sudden Impact (A)
              Phoenix Storm (AZ - ?)

Pool F:   Fresno Force Pink (Gold)
             Calif. Cruisers (Gold)
             American Pastime (A)
             Aftershocks (A)
             The Edge (?)

Pool G:   S.C. Hot Stuff (Gold)
              U.S.A. Athletics (A)
              Breeze (?)
              Ballhawks (A)

The format is Pool Play with 3 Pool Games and everyone advances to single
elimination on Sunday.

The winner of the tournament will play 5 games on Sunday after playing 3
Pool Games on Saturday. Thats totals 8 games in 2 days. For those of you
that live outside of California and can't understand why sometimes
Championship games are not played
at times,  just think of the pressure that 8 games in 2 days puts on your
pitching staff.
All this to win a tournament that is not even a National Qualifier.
