Vince and Spider....

You guys are losing sight of the original posting with your bickering.
And Vince, my doctor has me on a low sodium diet, except for sunflower
seeds.

I guess maybe I'll need to add a new sub-level.

Ground Level Zero- Parent has put kids completely through softball, kid
has graduated from college, has grandkid on the way, has nothing else to
do but write bogus newspaper columns, play on his computer, and harass
everyone else about nothing that makes sense, in general.

Hmmmm...tastes salty......

dave i thought the whole thing was funny maybe you missed that post to the
newsgroup, i laughed about it all day and passed it around

what's wrong about firing people up--that's what brings more into the
newsgroup.   maybe i'm wrong, but it's worked---check the 3ft rule area.

i shouldn't say this but if you get to somebody they will respond.  all
you have to do is push the right buttons.

maybe i'm off base but isn't this what this group is about, to stimulate
talk about softball??  AGREE WITH PEOPLE OR NOT AND ASK QUESTIONS!!

go ahead and tell me i'm off base and i'll quit.  not really cause i love
this.

Ed,

The softball net is to stimulate people to want to learn more about
softball, but it's not supposed to shaft girls or their successes or to
use your position to hurt people with false accusations.  (Not that you
have done that, but others have.)  They might drink a little too much, get
on the computer and then feel the need to elevate themselves with putting
other people down.  Everyone is here to further girls careers in softball,
not to destroy them!  That goes for some coaches careers too!   We need to
all just get along.  We are all going for the same goals, so why don't we
just help each other without being horribly rude to one another.  And, if
you guys don't start playing nice, we kids are going to have to take over
the net!

Peace - Out,
Jessica/14/F

YES, I play softball FP too and I'm good!

Wise words, Jessica.  Where do you live? I am in the S. California area.
Good luck!
