One of the young players that I've coached in the fledgling Croatian softball
program the past two summers is working on a project for her university
marketing course. The project essentially involves putting together a
marketing/PR program for softball in Croatia.

She is having trouble finding information about the history of women's softball.
She is particularly looking for information about how, when, and where the first
women's associations started and some information on the growth of the game
since then. I have been able to give her bits and pieces, but nothing
specific/substantial in the way of facts.

Any and all leads will be greatly appreciated...
