Patron Workshop May 18th
All patrons are invited to join the USOF-'95 staff for a wokshop. This
workshop will be held at the USOF offices in Denver and will feature
roundtables on many important festival topics including: tickets,
credentials, merchandise, advertisiong, volunteers and much more. The
workshop will end with a reception featuring the "first" showing of
USOF-'95 merchandise.

Ticket Sales over $900,000!
Director of Ticket Operations, Gail Stevens reports that ticket sales have
surpasses the $900,000 mark. Included in this figure is over $200,000 in
group sales.

"Share the Dream"
The USOF PR staff have been working closely with Tim Leiweke in the
developing a new theme for the festival's print and broadcast advertising
campaign. The new "Share the Dream" campaign will feature "familiar
festival faces" of the past, the torch, the emotion, the patriotism and
the dream of being an olympic medal winner. Television spots are now
running on KCNC NEWS4 (Denver) and KOAA Channel 5 (Colorado Springs).
Newspaper ads will begin running in the Denver Post and Colorado Spring
Gazette Telegraph on Saturday, May 13.

Sports Commissioners Visit USOF Venues
Representative from each of the national governing bodies (NGB) of the
U.S. Olympic Festival-'95's 37 sports visited Colorado the weekend of
April 24-26. Executive Vice-President, Jim Warsinske reports that the
weekend was very successful.

Olympic "Helpfuls" Growing
USOF's Director of Volunteer Services, Delaine Deal reports that over 1500
volunteers have already signed on. Delaine asks all patrons and friends of
the festival to encourage their employees to contact her at 303-573-1995

MidWest Trophy official distributor and retailer for U.S. Festival-'95 and
distributor of Hanes products reports that local retailers Target, K-Mart,
Sam's and WalMart all have combined for over $200,000 in merchandise
orders. They all plan to have USOF-'95 available by May 15. Donna Philips
of Midwest Trophy reports that patrons also have purchased over $50,000 in
merchandise for their employees and reminds all patrons that they should
make their special USOF merchandise orders as soon as possible. Please

New Patrons
Director of Corporate Development Graham Bennett recently announced new
patrons to the USOF-'95. Joining the festival are: The Home Depot,
Coca-Cola, Jefferson Pilot (KYGO-FM,KMIX-FM & KFAN-AM), King Soopers,
Eastman Kodak Co., PCR, Colorado SuperNet, Denver Broncos, and the Denver
Visitors and Convention Bureau.

Teams for USOF-'95 Begin to be Named
The National Governing Bodies (NGB) for Women's Basketball, Women's
Volleyball, Men's & Women's RollerSkating, Men's and Women's Rifle &
Pistol, Men's Field Hockey.
