I live near Washington, D.C., and I've recently purchased two epee
blades and am in need of masks, etc. in order to safely use them.  I
would appreciate any information you can give on places to purchase
these items.    Also, I'm am interested in either finding instructors
or clubs in the D.C. area.  As yet I have not found and points of
contact, and I would be grateful for anyinformation I receive on this

Thank you,

Kimbell J. Brown

Once again, I'm now putting on my "other" fencing hats as a member of Capitol
Division and of DCFC.

There are several clubs in the DC area, the most recognized being DC Fencers
Club, Chevy Chase Fencing Club, Montgomery County Fencing Club, Olde Town
Fencing Gang, and ***ia Academy of Fencing.

I'm a member of DCFC, so I can give you info on that club.  Ray Finkleman,
the secretary of Capitol Division, runs both CCFC and MCFC, plus he regulary
monitors this newsgroup, so I'm sure that he can give you info on them.  The
other two are actually in ***ia Division, but they're nearby (in Alexandria
and Vienna respectively).

All of these clubs (except for OTFG) have web pages available.  You can get
to them by accessing the USFA's web site at http://SportToday.org/.

The club websites are available by choosing "contacting us"
