Schedule of Events--
  Saturday, 18 March
          Men's Foil, check-in closes 8am
          Women's Epee, 9am
          Women's Sabre, 1pm
  Sunday, 19 March
          Men's Epee, 8am
          Men's Sabre, 8:30am
          Women's Foil, 11:30am
  Note: Women will be allowed to fence in men's events
            with payment of additional weapon fee.

Awards: 1st place - engraved silver platter
              2nd-4th places - plaques
              5th-8th places - medals

Eligibility: Holders of current USFA competitive
memberships or FIE licenses.  Please bring card or license
for proof of membership.

Fees: $10 registration
          $10 per weapon
          $10 per person late fee

Andre Kuehnemund, 1994 Omaha Challenge Men's Epee
Champion and former member of the East German Olympic
team, will offer an epee clinic on Saturday afternoon.  Clinic
fee: $10 per person, payable at the site.

Weapons Check: Masks and lames must meet current USFA
specifications.  Weapons will be tested on the strip.

Equipment Sales: Available from American Fencers Supply
and Santelli.

Accomodations: Holiday Inn Express, 3001 Chicago Street,
Omaha, 402.345.2222.  Special "Omaha Challenge Rate"
$48+tax for 1-4 per room.  Free continental breakfast,
other amenities.  Must ask for the Omaha Challenge Rate and
must make reservations on or before 10 March 1995.  There
is a shuttle service available from the airport to the
hotel.  There will be a shuttle service between the hotel
and the fencing venue.

The Omaha Challenge is one of the premier tournaments in
the midwest region.  Past participants have included Peter
Grandbois, Marc Walch, Elliot Cheu, Tom Lutton, Gary
Hayenga, Charles Higgs-Coulthard and George Nonomura
in MF; Jenny Dyer, Kate Rudkin and Elspeth Wilson
in WF and WE; Mark Niemiec and Karl Niemann in ME;
Sean Bates, Terrence Lasker and Jeremy Summers in MS.

  Note: Mr. Oliver of the Fencing Officials Commission will
  test applicants for USFA referee's ratings.  If you would
  like to take the exam, please contact the Tournament
  Coordinator, Melanie Chun.

The 1995 Challenge is the final event in this season's
Heartland Circuit.  Points will be tallied and Circuit
Champions announced.  First place in each of 5 weapons
(MF, WF, ME, WE and MxS) will receive the Circuit's travelling
trophies.  The top 8 fencers in each weapon will receive
gift certificates from circuit sponsors AMERICAN FENCERS
