Scoring box advice needed

The club here at ISU is planning on purchasing a new scoring machine and floor
reels, and I am hopin got sample to collective wisdom of the net for some
advice.  Our needs are: a two weapon box, up to USFA standards, but need not
be FIE, and inexpensive (but not cheap - if it breaks down a lot what use is
it?).

So far I have looked at the cost of the Prieur club 2 weapon, and the Blade
box. The cost seems similar - running around 750-800 for a box and two reels
w/ floor cords, as i recall.  I have also heard mixed reviews of the
challenger box that is/was available from colonial.  Any comments on these, or
anythign else you think might fix what I've described would be appreciated.

Thanks, and if you need to ask me anything I am

Perhaps Blade has made some recent innovations -- I don't know. However,
I have assisted in the repair of several Blade scoring boxes, and have
rebiult the cases on about half a dozen.

These things are hand-made, apparently by Chinese prison labor. Two
"identical" units are generally completely different. The quality of
construction is extremely poor. Blade also seems unwilling to service
them -- I have a nearly-new 3-weapon unit in my closet that doesn't
work.  Blade won't fix it, and the technician who has repaired all of
the other units has been unable to do so.

In short, the Blade scoring machines that I have encountered are
miserable junk. I would not even try to sell them to the Clinton
administration.
