Fencing problem

I am 15 years of age and would like very much to take up fencing. PRoblem
is there are no fencing clubs in the immediate vicinity. I checked the
www at the lsu server. And found that the only possible club that is
close (25 minutes away) had gone out of business. The next closest place
was the Bucks County Academy of Fencing and that is 40 minutes away and
my parents are not willing to drive me there. Are there any other places
to look for fencing clubs in my area. If I cannot begin fencing
instruction now I will begin when I am 16 and get my drivers license.
Then I will be able to drive to the fencing club in Bucks county. The
next closest place after that is the Fencing Academy of Philadelphia
which is 1 hour away? Is it that good that it is worth the drive? Also
does anyone know what weapon they emphasize. From what I have read, I
feel as though I'd like to start out with foil, or sabre. I appreciate
anyones help to this problem.

It would help if you said where you lived.  From your description I'd
guess you live somewhere west of Philly, but it could be in NJ, or several
other places.

There's a fencing class at the Brandywine YMCA near Downingtown/
Coatesville, in Chester County, west of Philly.
