Volleyball Canada would like to invite Midget age teams (born after Jan 1,
1982 or later) who are USA Volleyball members to participate in their

Investors Group Canadian National Indoor Volleyball Championships.

This event is taking place May 16th through 18th in Calgary, Alberta and
represents the biggest National Championships they have ever held. Their first
age class Open will be hosted in the Olympic Oval on 20 Sport Courts with
additional courts located adjacent to the facility at the University of
Calgary. They hope to attract upwards of 120 mens and womens teams to the
tournament which is taking place within one of their world-class facilities.

This will be the first time that Canada has allowed foreign teams to
participate in their National Championships (in recent years) and they would
welcome USAV Jr. Olympic Volleyball teams from anywhere in the USA. The entry
fee is $450 (Canadian) per team which can be composed of up to 15 players. All
transportation, lodging and food is the responsibility of the teams but USA
Volleyball Travel can help make travel arrangements for the trip, by calling
toll free at 888-28-USVBA. As with our Championships, the teams must provide
written proof of 24 hour medical insurance upon their arrival in Canada.
