Does anyone have any of the results from any of the play-in matches??

I am curious about the UMBC vs UCF match in particular.

UCF defeated UMBC in three, pretty easily.  Sorry, didn't keep scores.

Looks like UCF won because they are listed in the NCAA pairings
against Louisville (with the winner playing Hawaii) on the
web page at http://www.tpoint.net/Users/rdise//stories/ncaas.html.

Middle Tennessee St. (Ohio Valley Conf.) d. Princeton 3-1 (Ivy
League) yesterday in Tennessee.  Princeton did not come to play, and MTSU
played a really solid match.  

The UCF-UMBC match was, as earlier reported, a pretty easy win for UCF.  
Anyone who has not seen #9 Renata Menchikova (sorry if this is spelled
wrong) play, check her out.   You would never guess this 5'11"outside
hitter is leading (last I checked) the nation in total kills.  In the
UMBC match, she had a couple of hitting errors in the first game but
proceeded to become unstoppable.  She finished with 25 kills in three
games.  Although the first two games were pretty easy wins (like 15-3,
15-5), the third game wasn't.  Big South freshman of the year Lisa Cline  
heated up and became unstoppable herself.  The third game lasted forever
with both teams rotating around over 5 times!  Unfortunately, UCF played
awesome defense and did not make mistakes.  

For UMBC, this season was the best in school history.  In winning
the Big South championship, they won the first Conference championship
of any kind in the school's div. I history.  Anyone who saw the
BS-championship witnessed a stellar come from behind victory.  UMBC was
down 12-8 and 13-10 in rally scoring and came back to win 15-13.  UMBC's
volleyball future looks great after only losing one senior, Anna Gibbs
who did not play much due to knee and ankle injuries.  

Good luck to all teams in the NCAA tournament, especially UCF who will go
to U of Hawaii if they win their first round game!!!
