La version Fran?aise suit.

               Volleyball Canada's Newly Revised Web-site

The address is the same, but the look and content are different!
Volleyball Canada is pleased to announce that it has completely revamped
its web-site. The new site features a magazine style format, and will
contain the most up-to-date information on VC and its programs and

Identified as a priority under VCs current strategic plan, the site will
play an important role in enhancing communication between Volleyball
Canada and all volleyball enthusiasts. Visitors to the site can join
"listbot" to receive VC press releases by email, and a communication
plan will be implemented to ensure that all newsworthy information is
updated to the site in an expedient manner.

Some new features include sections under Indoor and Beach devoted to:
"Ask the Expert", "Technical Corner", and "Frequently Asked Questions."
In the National Team's section, the "O-Zone" will feature live updates
for as many National Team events as possible, including World League,
Olympic Qualifiers and World Beach events. Another enhanced feature is
VC's "Volley Shop." All VC merchandise is pictured and described in
detail, and shoppers can purchase items securely on-line.

VC's site has traditionally averaged 7,500 "hits" a day, and VC's new
design and format will hopefully increase that number. VC President,
Alan Ahac hopes that "the newly revamped site will draw more visitors as
volleyball enthusiasts look to Volleyball Canada to obtain the news
directly from the source."

Key volunteers have played an important role in maintaining parts of
VC's former site, including Rick Bell who tirelessly updated the Indoor
National Team section, the main section that kept visitors coming to
VC's site for over a year. While the time commitment has become too
overwhelming for Rick to continue, VC will be able to continue his
excellent work through the new format.

VC's new site is both designed and maintained by Proem Multimedia Ltd.,
owned by Greg Solecki, Professional Volleyball Webographer, a former
National Volleyball Team player whose wife Janette currently
participates on the Beach Volleyball National Team. This volleyball
connection has made it easier for VC's staff and volunteers, as the site
was reworked from scratch.
