AVP skills dinks!

Having never had the opportunity to play in Volleyball Heaven (California) I
find it hard to see a fault in using shots in the two man game.  I played on
the beaches of Milwaukee and learned the game with a few friends from the
weekly AVP tourneys on espn.  Granted the AVP you do what you can to win the
tourney because The money is on the line.  Not hitting a shot in two man is
like saying there are no three pointers allowed in one on one because the
defensive players is to lazy.  Come on!  I myself get pissed when someone
always hits a shot and never can crunch the ball in my face, but I can usually
beat the***off of a guy like this.  When a player can develop a good shot
and hit repitoire he or she can be unstoppable (Sinjin) because the D will
never know what is going on. Just my thoughts Replies are invited

Here at UCLA they play twos indoor during open rec. There is not a player
who hasn't hit a "shot" or two. Same goes for all levels at the beach.
Learn to hit, but hitting includes off-speed. It shouldn't be all that hard
to hit around one blocker, but sometimes...

A dink makes a very loud sound when it hits the sand on game point.

AVP players are very quick, and watch the hitter very carefully, so
you can't dink as often and get away with it.  If you find the the
other team makes a lot of points off of dinks, it probably means you
arn't watching the hitter, or you're really slow. (I'm really slow.)
