My son began using the Active Ankles this year playing JOV and is
currently playing summer-league basketball in them.  He absolutely
loves them and has expressed a few times already that he believed the
AA's saved a potential snap-rolled ankle injury.

Hope this helps,

Hi All,

What are your recommendations on ankle supports for indoor play?  Right
now, I am using the lace-up support.  I was looking at the Active
Ankle T2 Brace.  I have also seen adverti***ts for other braces similar
to the Active Ankle.  What do you think?  I wear high top shoes and my
shoe size is 13W.  Thanks for your input...

I have been a satisfied Active Ankle user for two years.  When I first
bought it I was skepitical if it would do to job or not.  It has exceeded
my expectations by allowing me to start playing earlier and preventing
additional injuries.

I have seen a lot of people wear and swear by the active ankle but one
drawback is that your ankle can start to depend on the support of
the ankle brace if worn a lot.  I understand it helps your mentally
as well I guess because if you have a bad ankle some people get a
little to cautious and it effects their game.
I hope this helps.

The only brace I use is for tendonitis called knee protect and it helps
a lot! but I have to also make sure I warm up and stretch.
