I've been skiing on 2 VTX's for the past 3 years and am considering
something new. I have an opportunity to buy a G3. Has anybody made the
change, any comments on the ski and compaisons are much appreciated:o)

Before you buy the G3, try a new KD7000.  Trust me...

Ask Bob Reich, he knows all about those.

I think you should buy the new KD7000!! Everyone told me how good it's
supposed to be, so I bought it without testing it.. MUST be better than my
old Duvall 900S !

I hope that the KD does work out for you, but just because a ski is a
great ski doesn't mean it's a great ski for everyone.  People ski
differently - that means that they need different skis.  I've skied on a
bunch of different skis - some I liked and some I hated.  They were all
the latest and greatest, but that didn't mean that I could ride them
around buoys.

Folks ask for opinions about skis - it's fine to give your thoughts on
the ski - it's fast, it likes to turn, it feels like it has 100 pounds
of lead in the tail.....but to suggest to somebody that you've never
seen ski that the KD 7000 is the best ski for them is silly.

I know guys who swear by the KD, one even turned down a deal on a Goode
to stay on his, but the bottom line is this:  If skiing is important to
you, if you want to be a better skier - Demo the ski.  Even skis of the
same type ski differently - find what works for you, not somebody out in
***space.

That's my two cents worth...   John

ps. I think you'd be real happy with a CDX  ;-)

Sounds like a smart guy.
