A group of us are looking into ski schools in the Orlando area. Can anyone make
any recommendations, or let us know of any experiences (good and bad) with any
of the ski schools?

I have had some good experiences at Ski-Away in Winter Haven. Call and
speak to Dave Briscoe, the owner, and see if he offers what you want.
He teaches slalom, wakeboard, barefoot, tricking, jumping, and more I'm
sure. And he trains some champions.

I had fun and learned alot.

There is a list of ski schools at http://waterski.net in the Water Skier's Web
Mall. I personally have been to two in winter haven with Ron Scarpa Water
Sports at 800-292-FOOT being my favorite, but I'm not sure how they would react
if you wanted to wear skis. Dave Brisco teaches just about everything including
disabled and he's in Winter Haven too, about one hour from Orlando and you can
visit the WS Hall of Fame and Cypress Gardens while you are there.
