Need pull in Seattle

Need pull in Seattle

Post by Charles Hi » Wed, 14 Sep 1994 05:58:33

I'm going to visit my brother Jody in Seattle on Sept 22-26 and would like to
ski with him.  He is working as 1st mate on an 88' charter sailboat and they
are there for some boat show and he has some time off.  He hasn't skiied with
me for a couple years so I need to show him my tricks.  I don't know what our
transportation situation will be, but I guess we'll have access to a car.  I
can bring whatever equipment I would need, I guess I should bring a dry suit.
It would be nice to have a boat with a boom so that he can foot, last time I
pulled him was his first time skiing on the boom and I had him doing tumbleturns
that first day.  He had learned off a kneeboard with me, and never got the deep
ups.  I couldn't blame him though, we were using a thin farmer john, ouch.

SO, please anyone with a ski boat in the Seattle area, reply by E-mail, post,
or call me at Work(513)255-3622 8-5EDT or Home(513)252-5001.  I'm a decent foot
instructor and usually teach 2-3 people how to foot every weekend, but also can
give useful pointers to advanced slalom skiers.  We would just want to go out
on some smooth water for an hour or two, so I could do a couple forward and
backward passes and Jody could ski on the boom or ski or kneeboard or whatever.

We're both really laid back and promise a good time.  Gas money, dinner, or
whatever is no problem.

Thanks,
Chas

Mike, you know I am, but a darn good one...I guess.  I like Boat Boy better.
You just wish you knew more BW's in Atlanta.

BTW I got a pull, Jody is psyched, he left a message at 4:45am this morning.
We're gonna try Lake Shammamish Friday morning around 8 or 9. Should be
interesting, Jody flies in at 4:00am.  I'll be in my usual weekend skiing state,
altered and no sleep I suppose.  Looking forward to meeting the crew of Sea
Angel, talked to Sally, Gina, and Lydia they are very sweet.

Later Mike,

PS you're missin' Oktoberfest in cinci this weekend, Barefoot Fest on the
***ing.  Free beer at Bud Booth 404, TIA Janet.
