Cruise Control/Perfect Pass vs Accuski

Cruise Control/Perfect Pass vs Accuski

I just received a copy of "The Water Skier" magazine.  Under the
"Competition News"
section, there is sub-heading on "Speed Control".  It seems that only 2
systems are
approved for use.  The Perfect Pass and the Accuski systems.  It goes on to
say
that only the Perfect Pass system is approved for all disciplines, slalom,
trick and
jumping.  The Accuski system is only approved for slalom, not tricks or
jump.
It also states that the Perfect Pass can be used on either the '97 or '98
Ski Nautique,
but only on the '97 MC Prostar 190.  The Accuski can be used on either the
'97 or '98
Ski Nautique, but only on the '97 MC Prostar 190.  Use of other systems or
system/towboats
requires prior approval of the "Chairman of the Speed Control Committee"

I see that Correct Craft has lowered the price on their "Correct Craft
Cruise".  I believe it's
being sold for $779.00 retail. That should satisfy most people on this ng.

Ps. jstanton has the "Chairman of the Speed Control Committee" approved YOUR
system?

I don't know if you are serious or just being "tongue-in-check" with
this statement. So, I'll answer it on the serious side. In short, no
because I've have not applied yet. If I apply with what I have
currently, it will no doubt raise a little more than eyebrows and
probably start a debate. I will not publish anything about this until
the application is filed.

So, does anyone know how to apply and the costs?
