Does anyone out there know of a remedy for cramping of the gastrocs
during swimming? I have this past week started some open water swimming
(with a wetsuit) and had this problem both times out. I've been involved
in the sport for several years and had this before but not to this extent.
I usually ride home after work (about an hour) then drive to the lake (30
min.) and swim about 2300m. I've also been training for an ultrarun and
have increased my milage from the usual 30-40 to 55-65 (I don't run on
swim/bike days). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
