Mark Allen in the Berlin Marathon

        Hi,

I read recently in a tri mag about Mark Allen
running the Berlin Marathon and trying to run
        around the 2:20 mark....
The results in the newpapers here only gave the
        top three placegetters....

Does anyone know any details ?? Did Mark actually
        run the race etc etc....

        Thanks,
        Dave.

Hei, I don't know about Mark Allen's race but that young German female
triathlete Sonja Krolik was 5th in the women's with a time of just over
2h31min !! When that girl learns to swim, and moves into ironman distance
races (if?), your going to see a women go under 8h45-50, and easily!!

P.S. She rides a bike damn well too!

She's pretty amazing alright! I remember watching the WC Muskoka races a couple
of years ago when she made up some incredible deficit after her swim (something
like 8 minutes) to still win the junior woman's title. And, since the swim is
relatively unimportant in an Ironman, you'd think it would be made for her.
