Disc At San Diego Int'l Tri?

Disc At San Diego Int'l Tri?

Hi,

I just bought a disc, and am doing the San Diego International Tri this
weekend.  I read that the course is "hilly," but how bad is it?  Has
anyone done this tri before?  I'm only doing the sprint distance, but
really want to know how hilly and windy the bike course is.  Should I go
with my disc or a Zipp 404 rear?

Thanks,
Adam

One climb of significance, I doubt there will be any appreciable wind.
The real problem with speed on the bike will be all the people you'll
have to navigate around.  And, if you really get that disc cranking, all
the cheaters (unknowing and otherwise) trying to suck your wheel as you
blast through the larger non-sprint field.  I'm not saying it's a crowded
unsanctioned newbie-laden marshall-less draftfest....am I?  Seriously,
you'll be fine with either wheel.  Both races are pretty fun, I'll
probably be down there cheering and volunteering.
