Availability of 26" road stuff (was "what to YOU want...")

In "What do YOU want in a road bike, I was surprised to see posts
questioning the availability of 26" road stuff.  Five years ago it was a
legitimate concern, I question now whether it's still legitimate, or
whether it's hung on as an urban myth.  Below I've listed both what's
available in 26" (some of the better stuff, by no means everything).  And
I've listed a few places where to get these items (not all the places will
have all the items).

Notes:

1.  A ** means that I think it's the best of its class:
2.  The list of dealers below is short, and phone numbers, usually 800#'s, can
be found on our website:  www.rooworld.com/dealer_list.html
3.  If you don't have a Nytro or Steve's, etc., next door to you, and have
to resort to mail order, realize that you'll probably have to resort to
mail order for decent 700c stuff anyway.
4.  That said, if any of you have a dual 26" wheel bike by any manufacture
that your local dealer isn't supporting with aftermarket products, please
email me.
5.  If you can't find something you really need in tires, tubes, rims,
etc., I always stock it.  If it's really not available at any of the usual
suspects, email me and I'll make sure you get what you need immediately.

I have to agree with Dan,  I have not had any problems with getting 26" stuff
any time I need it.  I just get on the phone to Bill at Mission Bay and order
what I want and get it PDQ!!

I have no personal experence with any of these dealers except Mission Bay and
Nytor.  And Bill at Mission Bay gets my vote for #1 dealer in the Mid West
hands down!!

With regards to wheels, the Specialized Tri-spoke also comes in 650c
size.
