Some late facts for you who are coming to Stockholm for the Championship week-end.
The categories are:Open 1.5/40/10K Dis    tance. For anyone willing to try the championship
course. For males and females, from juniors to age groupers. A unique opportunity to
measure up with the otfer stars.Promo. Swedenis biggest triathlon event in the past eleven
years. StockholmsTriadena popular event for those curious and daring enough to try
something new. A fun experience for both the beginner and the master.  Relay. Three doing
one discipline each. The same distance as the Promo race. European Police Cup.
1.5/40/10K. For policemen  and -women only. The categories will be included in the open
1.5/40/10K races.ETU European Championships. Applications will    be handled by the
different NGBs.TransportationPlease note that SAS offers a special event rate. Please
contact SAS at one of the telephone numbers stated in the SAS announcement. Quote the
reference number SE 9504.Hotel reservationThe pre-arranged    hotels have been chosen by
the organising committee together with the Stockholm Convention Bureau. A special rate has
been offered, lower than the hotelsi ordinary rack rate. All rooms are fully equipped with
shower/bath, telephone and TV. Room rates mentioned include breakfast buffet, service and
V.A.T.Scandic Crown Hotel. Located in downtown Stockholm, on the bike and running
course, three KM from the transition area. Superior first class hotel with a relaxation centre
and pool. Single room SEK 700/night, double room SEK 775/night. Venue for the ETU
summer congress.Hotel Amaranten. Located in downtown Stockholm one KM from the
transition area. First class hotel with a relaxation centre and pool. Single room SEK
620/night, double room SEK 690/night.Palac e Hotel. Located in the north downtown area,
one KM from Karlberg Palace. First class hotel. Single room SEK 470/night, double room
SEK 550/night. Rooms with three and four beds are available, supplementary cost SEK 165
p.p. and night.Hotel Kristineberg.  Located in the outskirts of downtown Stockholm, one KM
from the transition area. Tourist class hotel with sauna and an outdoor swimming pool. Single
room SEK 450/ night, double room SEK 550/night.
