Multisport School of Champs or Chumps?

Any RSTers attend the "Multisport School of Champions?"

I am thinking about attending the 5 day camp in Kona and wanted to get some
stories.  Cost is ~$700, but my girlfriend is paying for it (if I decide to
go), so money is not a big deal, but I just want to make sure it is worth
the effort.

While I would appreciate the, "Save your money and read a book" suggestions,
keep them to yourself.  I'm looking for people who actually went to other
camps and have either good or bad things to say.

The MSSC camp is the best. It is well worth the money. You will have a great
time, especially in Kona. Don't pass up the opportunity.

I just got back from the San Diego Camp.  It was a great experience (Good
training, good food, good people).  I will definitely go again next year.

Go for it.

Stevie-Boy:

I have attended several of these camps, both in San Diego and in Boulder.
The San Diego camp was more instructional, where the Boulder Ironman
Training camp was just that. Lot's of training.

In four days,  I had learned more about training than compared to the
fif*** years that I spent training myself. I only wish that I had attended
a camp earlier. Ask the "MSSC"  if the Kona camp is more instructional or
training based. Either way, you can not go wrong. Make sure "John Duke" will
be in Kona. Duke is the associate publisher of "Triathlete Magazine" and
really missed his calling as a stand up comedian. He will keep you in tears
the entire week.

Good Luck,
Keith

immersion-type experiences like the mssc are always incredibly helpful --
especially in a sport like triathlon where it's not always easy to find
fellow triathletes or to access coaching.  go, and make the most of it!
