THE CAMPS
The Multi-Sport School of Champions is an intensive five-day, four-night
training camp for athletes of all levels. Nine of the world's very best
athletes have come together to share their knowledge and expertise and to
take you to the "next" level of your performance potential.
Designed for the athlete with sincere desire to improve, regardless if you
are a beginner or an elite amateur, the camps will provide an opportunity
to
train with today's superstars while reaching your true potential.
For 1996, the camps will be located in Solana Beach, which is located in
North County San Diego, the winter hub of the triathlon world. Each camp
is
staffed by world-class athletes who will conduct clinics in areas of their
expertise as well as accompany you on all workouts.
Although the camps are very intensive, they are still part fantasy camp
and
your experience will be remembered for the rest of your life.
The MultiSport School of Champions is the pioneer in the field of
triathlon
camps. It is our belief that training and racing to your maximum potential
can be fun, as well as fulfilling.

THE ATHLETES
PAULA NEWBY-FRASER The most famous woman in triathlon, Paula has won the
Ironman more than any other person, man or woman--seven times. Her
performance in ultra-distance events makes her the standard by which both
men and women judge themselves.
JURGEN ZACK The sport of triathlon is being swept away by a wave of German
domination and leading that wave is Jurgen Zack. The greatest superstar in
Germany today, Jurgen's striking good looks make him a leading candidate
for
the "Sports Poster Boy."
MIKE PIGG Two-time U.S. Pro Champion, Mike Pigg is one of the best
short-course triathletes ever. The only athlete to beat Simon Lessing in
1994, Pigg is a truly outstanding athlete as well as a great personality.
PAUL HUDDLE The winner of both of Japan's premier events, the Ironman and
the Strongman, Huddle is the most famous American Triathlete in Japan.
HEATHER FUHR One of triathlon's brightest new stars, Heather is one of the
best runners in the sport and will be at the top for years.
JOHN HOWARD Three-time Olympic cyclist, world speed record holder and
Ironman Champion, John Howard is one of the most accomplished and
well-respected authorities in the world of cycling.
ROB MACKLE "The Beef," as he is known in the triathlon world, is the
premier
swimmer/cyclist in the world of triathlon. His swimming background at
Indiana University where he was coached by Doc Councilman, helps give him
a
vast knowledge as a swimmer and swim coach.
NICK MARTIN, M.D. A world-class marathoner and triathlete, Nick is also a
practicing physician. His talent, combined with his medical training,
gives
him a unique perspective on the Multisport athlete.
DIANE BUCHTA Diane Buchta is a certified fitness specialist and personal
trainer to many of triathlons's top stars. Her most famous clients include
Paula Newby-Fraser and Mark Allen.

Registration
All camps are limited to a maximum of 30 participants to ensure an
intimate
setting for all athletes. Rates include four nights' accommodations, all
meals and taxes.
