I'm a relative newbie to triathlons. I'm curious what constitutes the on and
off "seasons" for triathlons. I'd like to train & compete in some Olympic
distance tri's come spring, but I'm not sure how to periodize training over
the winter (and for that matter, what kind of training, if any is done over
the winter months). When do these races typically start happening?
