(Should I answer this?  What the hell.  I'm just killing time waiting for
my ride home.)

Is baseball a multisport event?  After all, batting and fielding are very
different activities.

I suppose multisport events combine sports which are normally practiced
by themselves.  It's my impression that each gymnast must compete in
all four events.  That would make it (in my book) a single sport which
requires different skills (like baseball).

Gymnastics is one of the most beautiful and amazing sports I've ever
watched.  It makes my joints hurt just to think of it.  Why do you need
to classify it?

Well, I think swimming would be the same case, so I guess multi-event means
combining sports that are really different, not combining modalities of the
same one.

I love gymnastics, to watch it of course (I'm as flexible as a rock), I didn't
know there was a team at Lehigh, or you do it somewhere else?
