Go ahead, give to another city like Calagry (one of the select few who would be
able to pull it off). It sure would beat trying to put on the show like any form
of 'punishment' will be given that would prevent this happening in the future.

The sponsorships may dry up for 3-6 months, but it is unlikely that anything
short of ritual sacrifice would deter American sponsors, and the rest of the
world are pretty much the same.
