Hotel rooms are sold out and private homes are $1000 - $3000 per night.
What's an Olympic guest to do?

Stay in our modern, furnished one-bedroom condo within walking distance
of the Olympic Village.  The roomy unit features AC, cable TV, microwave,
washer/dryer, dishwasher, kitchen, stereo, VCR, swimming pool, jacuzzi,
exercise room, etc.  Parking is free.

Less than 5 minutes from Buckhead night clubs, restaurants, shopping,
golf and tennis, our neighborhood is safe and comfortable.

Upon receiving the first deposit, this offer is withdrawn.  This
executive condo is available for $550 per night (14 night min. + $75
cleaning fee).  We request a maximum of two guests.

Tickets to the Opening Ceremonies and the Basketball Final Round may be
available for an additional charge.  We have lived in Atlanta for over 10
years so we can provide directions and answer questions as needed.

We offer a quality condo at a fair price.  Come celebrate the dream!

At these lodging rates, what is the average working middle class family
supposed to do about finding an AFFORDABLE place to stay in the WHOLE
STATE OF GEORGIA during the 96 Olympics?  Looks like we'll be sleeping on
park benches and under freeway on ramps.

no, when the city is 50% unreserved a month before the games, you will be
able to get something in town for a reasonable rate... Always happens...
