anyone videotape the olympics?

Hello friends,

I'm desperately looking for a copy of the Olympic games that aired on Feb 15,
1994 at about 8 - 11p.m. EST.

"Why?" you may be asking...

I'm a telcom major here at Indiana University.  In my media promotions class,
we were assigned to record a particular night of the olympics and analyze the
networks promotions within it.  Most of the people in class signed up for times
that another person was also taping - so there would be a backup in case of
failure.  However in my case, I was the only one assigned to 2/15.  I set my
VCR to record... and got nothing. (!!)

Now since my professor habitually has her students do her research for her (oh,
BTW - she "publishes" all of "her" findings), she is very pissed at me for
"failing" her and her study.  Her comments in class (and my grades) are

right!

[does anyone else think this is tremendously unfair?]

Well, if anyone has a copy and would be willing to help me out (maybe I could
borrow your tape and then send it back to you or we can find a way to make a
copy), please let me know.  I'd be happy to compensate for your efforts,
postage, etc.  And you would have a lifelong friend here in Indiana.  :-)

Many millions of thanks,

Matthew Jenkins.

I'm having some trouble receiving mail at the address in the heading

It is unfair and it happens here frequently.

I taped it, but only skating, no commercials or 'up close and personal'
drivel, so that probably won't help you.

Well, not videotaping the Olympics, per se, but if anyone in Canada
did tape Bonnie Blair's breaking of the women's 500m world record on
3/26/94 at the Olympic Oval, please e-mail me so we may discuss a
trade or something.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
