Three questions:

1. Any comments on the prospects of the US wrestling team at Atlanta '96?

2. Does anyone know how individual members of the US team fared at the
recent worlds in Turkey?

3. Any idea when the worlds will be broadcast on American tv?

Thanks.

I don't know anything about the recent WC's, but could someone fill us in
on what Aleksandr Karelin is up to nowadays?

Karelin is the same as before. Just won his seventh(?) WC-title in Tampere,
Finland couple of weeks ago. Didn't have any remarkable resistance at all.
In the final he broke a few ribs of his Cuban opponent, who had to give up.

Actually Finland's Juha Ahokas lost his first match (against a Chinese)
on purpose, so that he wouldn't have to face Karelin in the next round.
(If he would have, he wouldn't have had any chances at all to win a
medal, if lost to Karelin. Now that he lost in the first round, he still
had a chance to win bronze!)
