'98 Winter Games

Recently someone was kind enough to post the address of the organizing
comm. for the Nagoya games in response to my question about where to get
information. Does anyone know of an American outlet for tickets and/or
information? I've tried the Japanese address several times with no
response.

Thanks Again,
-Susan

: Also, this is the 2nd time I've seen the '98 Olympics referred to as the
: Nagoya Olympics.  Which is correct, Nagano or Nagoya?

Because I've never even heard of Nagoya, and because the IOC announced it
as Nagano, and because all the media has been calling it Nagano, I'm going
to say that it is Nagano.

Please write to the United States Olympic Committee, First Olympic Plaza,
Colorado Springs, CO, 80909-5760. They should be announcing (if they
haven't already done so) an independent ticketing agency (like
Sportsworld) to handle all US tix sales. Since the agency would have a
monopoly over US sales, you won't be able to buy tix directly from the
Nagano Committee for the OL Games.
