Nope, I still don't like the sound of it.

Are we sure we need this new construction?  IMO, the English language is
big and cumbersome and polymorphous enough without yet another redundant
noun-to-verb conversion.

Take it as "I meddle, you meddle, and they meddle"

Commentators in the Cuba Vs USA (W Y'Ball QF):
"The cuban players are more physical"   (US team more chemical?)

I liked the way the US team played thus far, but Cubans
played better and deserved to earn the SF berth the SF berth.
