______________

Sad to hear.   But....I gotta believe those rumours about steriods were
accurate/valid and had something to do with a 38 year old having a heart
seizure (ruling out family heritage possibilities).    She had her first
heart seizure on an Airplane flight 2 years ago.

If I recall...she gave up her track aspirations and was working as a bank
teller, 20.lbs overweight....and that's when her husband, J.Joyner Kersee's
brother, motivated her to get back into track....and 20 months later ...she
was breaking world records, won the gold in Seoul, etc.

The time frame in which she went from being overweight to the world record
holder is astonishing...and I can well recall hearing her interviewed on
radio, TV, and other shows immediately after the Olympics....she had a deep
deep voice (making you think it was un-natural and the result of a woman
taking male sterioids).   Sure, I know she passed test but you can mask
anything......

Regardless....I'm sorry to hear she's died.
