As a Connecticut resident, I was hoping to see more of former UCONN
stars Swin Cash and Sue Bird in the medal rounds.  (Diana Taurasi,
another UCONN grad, did play major minutes) However, Coach Chancellor
decided to go with an 8 player rotation and he's the coach and they won
so that's that's.

But it does bring up an interesting point.  Bird and Cash are both
two-time NCAA champions and both WNBA all-stars.  Yet you didn't hear
one word of complaint out of them regarding lack of playing time.

Meanwhile on the Men's team..........

Yes and Happy Birthday to back-up center Ruth Riley and Happy 42nd
wedding anniversary to Coach Van Chancellor.

Great way to celebrate isn't it? lol
