The only reason they didn't walk in October was because they had
faith that the CBA would be settled during the season and it wasn't.
They should have known better who they're dealing with. Especially, that
guy in Chicago. He's acting like Ballard's twin brother. If you
know anything the last 75 years of NHL, you know the players have been
screwed long enough. They don't need respect from people like you. They
want it from the owners. And they'll get it shortly.
They should have walked in October because they should've never trusted
the owners in the first place!

My point exactly.  They never should have trusted the owners in the first
place!  I guess the players don't need respect from people like US.

You said it. They don't. They get no respect at all.
Yeh,as a matter of fact, how many major pro sports comissioners(owner
mouthpieces) skip out of town during, say, the Conference Finals? Well,
Ziggy did.  Ziggy was in London when the notorious DoughnutGate at the
MeadowLands Arena took place and couldn't be located for couple of days.

Believe me,fans are the last people  Bob Goodenow&friends have to worry
about. If YOU don't respect them so what? There are still 4,000 on a Bruins
seasonticket waiting list.
