Darin Kimble is a Right Winger who played last season for the St. Louis
Blues. He didn't see much action last season and played the role of an
"enforcer" for the most part.

Ever since the St. Louis v. Chicago Blackhawks brawl two years ago on
St. Patricks day, it seems to me that Kimble is a goon.

Actually, TB's defense is fillled with a lot of goons/grinders.  It
might be hard to score goals on them, but they won't produce much
offense.

Kimble split last season between the St. Louis Blues and their Peoria farm
club.  I don't think he even remotely resembles a high scoring defenseman,
though, because he had just 1 goal and 3 assists in 46 games while compiling
166 PIM.  More of a Shawn Cronin "the Barbarian" type, perhaps?

Boston Bruins traded KEN HODGE (C) and MATT HERVEY (D) to the TAMPA BAY
LIGHTNING for DARREN KIMBLE (D).

DARREN KIMBLE is considered a high-scoring defenceman. Who did he play for
last season? Could someone tell me more about him?

Deja vu? Didn't Phil Esposito once convince the New York Rangers to acquire
Ken Hodge, Sr. from Boston? Now, he does the same with Ken Hodge, Jr.

That's a definite. A hypocrite by the name of Harry Sinden, who campaigned
to limit fighting in the NHL at the most recent Board of Governors meetings
in Tampa,Florida, brought in this guy to be an "enforcer" since bad-boy
Lyndon Byers is no longer employed by the men in Gold.

BTW,Lyndon Byers is very close to landing a job(no,the job description
doesn't state "beating the brains out of Darren Kimble 8 times a season")
with the Nords.
