AHL: St John's Leafs...again

St John's defeated  Moncton tonight to clinch their best of 7
Atlantic Division semifinal series, 4 games to 1. Leafs GM
Bill Watters announced that the Leafs will be playing their
future playoff home games in the Newfoundland capital. They
were forced to play their Moncton "home" games in Halifax, NS
due to a workers' strike which has  since been resolved. Game
1 of the St John's-Cape Breton atlantic division final will
be on Thursday night in the St John's Memorial Stadium.

Oddly enough, teh only 1st round series still going on is
the Binghamton-Baltimore series which is tied at 2. Who would
hav ethought it, especially since Bingo finished with an AHL
record 124 points in teh regular season and 37 points ahead of
the second place team while Baltimore had the 2nd worst record
of any playoff team with 68 points (coincidentally, the team with
the worst record, the Springfield Indians, won their first round series).

Hey hockey fans out there,

This is the best time of the year for all hockey fans out there!  Don't waste
your precious playoff time flaming Roger!  It "aint" worth it!  Watch the
playoffs either by attending the games live, or television/vcring/radio will
do just fine, but let's forget all about flaming ANYONE, leave Roger alone!

So let's all cheer on our favourite teams (whomever they may be) and cherish
this time of the season, 'cause once it's over, we all will be sorry and have
long faces in the dead of summer wishing hockey never should have gone by
so fast!

I'm living in the hockey dead-lands, its hard to even watch (let
alone cheer on) my fav team. Besides, he deserves it.
