Isles vs. pens, oops

Isles vs. pens, oops

Is my face red. Here I was saying the isles would beat the rangers in the
first round when what i meant to say was the caps would beat the pens in
the first round!!

I guess I just got confused.

BTW, rangers played three great games against a plucky islanders team.
Gotta hand it to Richter. He played very well. I guess the islanders are a
bit long in the tooth to claw their way to a playoff spot in the last week
of the season AND knock off the number 1 team in the league every year.
They did it last year but only got the first half of the equation this
year. C'est la vie.

Looks like boston will beat montreal now. No Roy, no next round for
montreal.

And the caps are just kicking ass. Unbelieveable. Where's mario leboohoo? I
thought he was mr. magic who could score 10 goals with one hand tied behind
his back? Ain't that why he gets 6 million a year? Oh, I'm sorry, it must
be to play those 20 games in the regular season.

May the best team win.

Later, jack

It's not over yet.  Remember two years ago when the caps thought they had it
all wrapped up with a 3-1 lead?  As long as mario is waving his magic wand, the
pens still have a chance.  Also, things have to even out sometime...I don't
think the caps can play their best while the pens play their worst forever.

Ah, but these are not the same Penguins of 2 years ago are they?  They
have a different coach (major difference), Stevens is not playing as
well as he should be, Lemieux's back isn't too great, and the list goes
on and on.  Oh, they're all a lot older too.

Different coach, sure.  Big difference?  Hardly.  Johnston isn't worth a
damn but he's still just as good as Gordie Howe's only serious rival as
the most over-rated hockey man in the history of the NHL.

Big difference is Paul Coffey.
