A little venting:

I'm SO sick of Gary Glitter and the other canned music they play at arenas
now.  I miss the days of a creative organist, or better yet, just plain
silence!  At least they can't play during game action.

Why does there always have to be a loud crappy song the INSTANT the play
stops, or if a goal is scored, the fans aren't allowed to cheer on their
own, they have to immediate play the team's "theme"?  AAUUGGHH!!!

At least Phoenix announced that anyone caught doing the Macarena would be
ejected!  The fans cheered!  But that got me curious if anyone else felt
like I do and wish this canned music would go away.

Any comments?

Hey, don't ***the chicken dance.  At least it can be played on the
organ.  So to speak.

One thing that _is_ cool:  the organist at MSG plays a mean "Eruption"
by ELP (first track on _Tarkus_) during Rangers games.  Not that that
would make me root for the Rangers, or anything.

I may not agree with the above, but lets put things this way:

The Macarena.

I have heard that stupid, utterly ridiculous tune at *every* friggin' sporting
event with music that I have been to in the last three or four months! I'll hear
it tonight! I'll hear it Tuesday! If I got paid a buck for everytime I'd heard
the stupid thing, I'd go off and buy a new video card...

And keep the Beavis and Butt-head theme after fights....it fits for a
couple of goons in the league

I think that all arena music should be banned... except for the Hartford
goal song and the theme to hockey night in canada (that should be played
before every period).

Jesus, the only music allowed should be NO music. Only the horn that
indicates a goal for the home team.
The FANS should get into the game a bit more and cheer on their
teams!!!

Can't go wrong with Stompin' Tom and "The Good Ol' Hockey Game."

It's the best game you can name....

After 11 straigt, we finally get a win against Philly!

Boy, this team is fun to watch.  We're gonna be s scary once the defence
gets some experience, and hopefully adds a veteran leader (I've been
hearing Tinordi) on the club.    And if Jabber can hold down the fort,
we're gonna be OK.

Been into the Molson Centre?? I am going to try to get to MTL in late
March....how would I go about trying to get tickets??

See ya!

Sorry, but there should (IMO) be an exception to this rule:
Brass Bonanza.  I'm a Devil fan, but I love going to the Hartford Civic
Center because its got its own, crazy 1970's WHA feel to it, and this is
part of it.

I don't think anyone could top the organ rendition of "Maniac" from
"Flashdance" that I heard at the United Center during a Hawks/Canucks game
last year. Wow, that is the definition of bad.
