Have you ever seen him play anyone else besides the Hawks.  If the Hawks want a
tough guy who has talent to score he is number one.  When one thinks of a bad
guy in the NHL it is Probert, NOT Kocer or anybody else.  He is what everybody
thinks of as the best.  If he is the best does not matter, what matters is what
people think.  ie.  Even though Bill Clinton, the U.S. President, is a very
succesfull president in the way of passing legislature, his still does not fill
the bill as a president.

I for one want to see Probert on the Hawks and I think the Hawks will be glad
they got him.  He is one of those people who if he is on your team you love
him, if not then you hate him.  Give him a chance to play.  I am not justifing
his *** and drug problems, I am however justifing his skills as a hockey
player.

My only comment is that when Chris Nilan put on the Black & Gold in

Boston, after being one of the most hated members of Montreal, he quickly

became the fans third favorite Bruin (after Bourque & Neely ).

If Bob Probert sets his mind to it and straightens himself out,  He will

be more popular in Chigago than JR.

If expansion had only happened one year earlier, The Great Knuckles Nilan

might still be in the NHL.

The Bruins will be the NHL Champs for the 1995-95 season.
