It is almost impossible to predict order, because of the expansion draft...
because of the rigidity of the expansion draft, 1 goaltender, 5
defen***, and 9 forwards, and everyone with more than 1 year
pro experience eligible (with a few exceptions), there will be
trades galore.  Add to that a deep draft, the fact that Anaheim and
Miami have deep pockets, and guarenteed top picks next year...and
the pre-draft manouvering is going to be the most interesting that
it has ever been.

Well, I can tell you that the #6 pick might very well be available for
trade (but not until the first five picks are made)...Pronger should be gone
at that point, and Hartford is already deep in young forwards; it looks as
if Kozlov might be the last of the big six still left, and Brian Burke will
sit back and see if anyone wants to give up some talent in exchange for
Kozlov's "potential". Considering the *desperate* need for defense on the
Whalers, trading down for Brendan Witt might be an option...

Viktor Kozlov is no longer the top-rated European prospect eligible for
the 1993 NHL entry draft next month.  That distinction belongs to Swedish
left winger Niklas Sundstrom of MoDo.  I believe Sundstrom is the left
winger on the line with Forsberg and Markus Naslund.  Prior to this
season, Kozlov was the favourite to go first overall.

Did the Flyers loose their first round pick this season in the
Lindros trade?  I can't remember but I think they did.
